Terry Lee
Vice President
Terry
has more than 15 years experience in the field of marketing communications,
working for general as well as ethnic agencies launching and managing
national multi-media campaigns in a variety of industries.
As a Vice President at the Walker Marchant Group (WMG) Terry develops
and manages the implementation of strategic communications programs and
provides senior-level strategic counsel to a variety of clients including
Toyota Motors NA, Tyco International, and the Private Equity Council (PEC). Terry
also oversees new business development and marketing for WMG.
Terry has developed and managed successful marketing and public relations
campaigns for clients such as: Microsoft, Daimler Chrysler, Pennzoil,
Johnson & Johnson, Cisco Systems, Coors Brewing Company, and United
States Departments of Transportation, Health and Human Services, and Homeland
Security. He has created more than $100 million dollars in marketing
partnerships with over 150 corporations and national organizations as
part of national, multi-year, public education campaigns.
Prior to joining Walker Marchant, Terry managed the Washington, DC office
for CarryOn Communications as a vice president and practice group leader.
Terry has several years of public affairs and government relations experience
having served in positions at the federal, state, and municipal levels
including the Clinton White House and the Office of the Mayor for the
District of Columbia.
Terry is a graduate of Vassar College with a BA in Political Science
and Economics. He is the author of a book, PR To The People A
Step By Step Guide To Free (Positive) Publicity, and has had articles
appear in numerous publications. He is frequently tapped as a speaker
for conferences on diversity and multicultural marketing to share his
expertise and insights. A native of New York City, Terry resides
in Washington, DC with his wife and two lovely children.
