Jennifer HubbardJennifer Hubbard is an Account Supervisor with The Walker Marchant Group. She is experienced in corporate and crisis communications, as well as media relations and helps to maintain a client portfolio that includes Eli Lilly, the YMCA, and Toyota.

Previously, Jennifer spent two years as an Account Executive in Weber Shandwick’s Corporate Issues Group in New York, where she provided crisis management support in developing strategic communications plans, as well as the development of materials surrounding management changes, litigation, legal/regulatory issues, mergers and acquisitions and labor relations.

Jennifer joined Weber Shandwick’s Corporate Issues Group as a graduate in July 2007. Her client portfolio included Cerberus Capital Management L.P., for which she contributed to communications development for the firm’s acquisition of a majority interest in Chrysler, Hazelden, InterContinental Hotels Group, CRE Boca Opco, CIT Group, a commercial services and consumer finance firm, as well as AerCap Holdings Inc., an aviation leasing firm. Jennifer helped secure a segment for AerCap CEO Klaus Heinemann with the leading business news network, CNBC Squawkbox in December 2008.

Prior to joining Weber Shandwick New York, Jennifer interned in Washington D.C. at Hill and Knowlton, and Edelman Public Relations, as well as in the Weber Shandwick Boston office. Jennifer was responsible for providing communications support for a variety of corporate, environmental & food policy, transportation, and communications clients. Her media relations support and outreach helped to secure a number of media placements for multiple clients at both local and national levels.

Jennifer graduated from Dalhousie University in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada earning a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with a Minor in Business. She went on to pursue her Master’s degree in Public Communication from American University.
